Francesco Favero, detto Checco, figlio d’arte (suo padre Eno è stato uno dei capi storici del Gruppo), nasce a San Vito al Tagliamento l’8 dicembre 1986. Nei lupetti fa parte della sestiglia dei neri e conquista la specialità di canterino. A San Francesco, il 29 dicembre 1998, durante il suo primo campo invernale di Reparto diventa scout con la Promessa. Fa parte della Sq. Aquile di cui sarà capo nel 1999/2000. In Reparto conquista le specialità di cuciniere, attore, maestro di giochi, musicista e servizio parola, che gli valgono il brevetto di animazione espressiva. Nel 2000 partecipa, presso la base scout di Cassano Murge, al campo di competenza di animazione di strada.
Passato in branca R/S, dopo l’anno di Noviziato, trascorre 3 anni in Clan. Anni in cui matura la scelta della Partenza, concretizzatasi il 14 ottobre 2006 al Tagliamento (loc. Rosa). Dall’ottobre 2006 presta servizio in associazione come aiuto capo Reparto. Dall'ottobre 2008 è capo unità in branca E/G. Dall'ottobre 2011 è capo Clan. Nel dicembre 2012 viene nominato Capo Agesci e ottiene il brevetto internazionale di Capo scout.
